The  D'Artagnan Agreement What is our purpose and the reason for our cliche' "All for one and one for all" This quote is from Alexander Dumas' famous, The   Three   Musketeers who actually were three men with an extraordinary Purpose. The purpose was a unity of cause  - electrifying interaction That caused them to be the envy of the crown's Musketeers. Yet, their daring became legendary when the fourth Man, known as D'Artagnan, challenged all of them, thereby saying, I can best all of you or at least I have the courage to try. This bravery, courage and integrity brought out the best in all of them. And so the legend will ever live as an inspiration to accomplish the best for everyone concerned and for all those with whom they came in contact. The Good of Evil During trials of our  faith as with the saints, evil serves its purpose, it changes our thoughts it changes our direction and if the evil was great enough it will change our character. Abraham had to deal with the selfishness of his nephew Lot and when he gave Lot the best.   God gave Abraham a better promise.  Joseph was the focus of hatred and in bondage of jail based on a lie.....The Throne became the place of restoration.   Paul's evil was so great his name was feared, his reputation destroyed.   But God chose this to force him to look up to see nothing but light, to hear the voice of direction.. Now, how often do you feel that this last evil thing; the lie, the lost of job, the rumor, the sickness was too evil to endure...... Now pay attention to the corrective steps you are taking, the adjustments that need to be made to survive.....you may not see the good yet,  but without the evil you would not be on the move in a direction you could not have conceived of before the day of darkness.... the darkness was allowed by God to make sure you will know the difference and appreciate the light when He gives it to you, in the form of a realization that, what was meant for evil.......God, used to make all things, New, including you....Amen  {think on this} Status Quo is not the way for the children of God
